TOUHOU PROJECT 14.5 [PC] ~SHINPIROKU~

Touhou 14.5: Shinpiroku
Touhou Shinpiroku or also known as Urban Legend in Limbo is a one-on-one aerial fighter with no ground combat using a style similar to Hopeless Masquerade. One exception is the use of Moe Harukawa, artist of Forbidden Scrollery, as the game's portrait artist. She replaces longtime artist alphes, who previously served as the artist on all of Touhou's fighting games. With this, a recurring theme in the game is using manga-style graphics, where each introduction to an opponent shows them drawn in a manga-style way.

Gameplay
3 Mode available within the game: Single-player Story Mode, Human vs. Human Match (Read more about Netplay guide here), Human vs. Computer Match.

Spellcards
In this game, you have a meter at the lower screen corners that slowly fills up as you fight. That's the Spell Bar. Once you fill it up completely, you'll be able to use the spellcard you selected before the battle! Or you can charge it up twice to make it more powerful! Remember though, once you use a spellcard, the Spell Bar depletes completely, whether charged once, twice, or halfway-twice.

When the player has meter over the required amount, they may declare by pressing the spellcard button. The player is vulnerable during the startup of this declaration, and getting hit out of it will cancel your declaration. Once a card is declared, the player will no longer gain spell meter until the spellcard is used.

Health Bar
In this game, there may be times when you have a blue health bar and a white one. The blue is your real health, the white is how much you'll get back (see: Yomotsu Hirasaka). Mokou takes advantage of this in a way. When she uses fire-based attacks, her blue health will deplete, leaving her white bar where it was. When she uses Resurrection (5C) her blue health will fill up to where the white bar ends.

Spirit Bar

The spirit bar is a system that manages your projectiles. It is represented by 5 flames - red for player 1, blue for player 2. When you use a projectile or a special, one of your flames disappears and becomes a small dot. Each use of a flame will stop it from regenerating for a short time. Once that time passes, the flames regenerate extremely quickly.
